FOR PRELIMS: Topic for EXTEMPORE JUST A MINUTE will be provided on the spot. 2-3 minutes will be given as preparation time for JAM.

The top 8 participants will advance to the Finals on the basis of the score in the Prelims.

The Final Round will be a debate. The participants will compete individually against each other.

Topics for the Final Round of the debate will be given on the spot.

The participants will be given 5 minutes to prepare.

Each interaction (either ‘For’ or ‘Against’ the motion) should not exceed 3 minutes.

Counter questioning is not allowed.

The participants are strictly forbidden to access or use the internet or any other electronic media.

Failure to comply with rules will result in the participants’ elimination from the competition.
